GBAmp 3.6 is a little but powerful amplifier module made to fit your favourite Game Boy. Most Game Boys have pretty low speaker volume, but GBAmp can make it sound so that your neighbours can hear it :)

GBAmp is a "Hi-Fi" grade cutting edge industrial Class-K amplifier with AGC which is more power efficient than the Game Boy internal amplifier. This helps your batteries last longer.

Installation
Select your Game Boy model to get the matching installation guide: DMG, GBC, GBP, GBA or GBASP. The module is installed by soldering a handful of wires to the board — basic soldering skills are enough.

Game Boy DMG
You will need
- 7 wires of AWG 28-30
- Basic soldering iron and some solder
- Skills
- Pink area should be isolated with some tape!

You will need
- 7 wires (or 5 wires for speak-burger) of AWG 28-30
- Basic soldering iron and some solder
- New slim speaker (included with speak-burger, but original works too)
- Skills
- N/P pads should be soldered to the speaker unless you have ordered speak-burger!

You will need
- 7 wires (or 5 wires for speak-burger) of AWG 28-30
- Basic soldering iron and some solder
- New slim speaker or speak-burger (original speaker would not let module fit!)
- Skills

Game Boy Advance GBA
You will need
- 7 wires (or 5 wires for speak-burger) of AWG 28-30
- Basic soldering iron and some solder
- Original or new slim speaker or speak-burger
- Special version of GBAmp for GBA
- Mad skills
- N/P pads should be soldered to the speaker unless you have ordered speak-burger!
- Pull pin 11 of U6 from the PCB for the module to work.
- Put the module as shown on the installed picture, otherwise it would not fit.

Game Boy Advance SP GBASP
You will need
- 7 wires of AWG 28-30
- Basic soldering iron and some solder
- Original or new slim speaker
- Special version of GBAmp for GBA
- Pink area should be isolated with some tape!
- Make sure your GBASP PCB looks like this one, others are not supported!
- Solder a couple of connector pins together for the module to work. Headphones adapters are not supported and the speaker would not mute if you insert headphones into an adapter.
